Fjolla Gashi

Fjolla Gashi is a composer currently completing her Master’s degree in Composition at the Faculty of Arts, University of Prishtina. Her work focuses on contemporary music, exploring timbre, texture, and interdisciplinary approaches, including electroacoustic and theatrical elements. Her compositions have been performed at festivals and concerts both in Kosovo and internationally.

She is a recipient of several awards, including First Prize at the Flute Sound Festival (2024), ArsKosova Composition Competition (2023), MKRS Annual Awards (2022), and Chopin Piano Fest (2022), as well as prizes at the Çesk Zadeja Competition and PriVocalFest. She has also been recognized as a Distinguished Student and Pupil. Fjolla has participated in masterclasses with leading contemporary composers, including Chaya Czernowin, Dieter Ammann, and Clara Iannotta.
