EDUWEEK is a program within the Chopin Piano Fest Prishtina festival, that seeks to uplift and support young classical musicians, from those attending elementary music schools to university level students, by providing a platform to showcase their talent.
The program’s primary objective is to encourage and motivate young musicians to pursue their professional development in the field of classical music. One of the most inspiring aspects of the program is the opportunity it provides for young musicians to share the same stage with world-renowned artists, which can serve as a source of inspiration and motivation for them.
Since the inception of our journey, EDUWEEK has been a vital component of our festival program, and it has been instrumental in nurturing the talent of young musicians.
The ChopinPianoFEST Prishtina Special Piano Festival Award is a highly anticipated award that is presented to a young pianist every year. This award has become a cherished tradition of the festival and is made possible through the generous support of Dr. Herbert Groeger from Bad Honnef/Salzburg, in collaboration with Kosova pianist Ardita Statovci, who initiated the establishment of this award in 2017.
The audition for the Special Piano Prize for the 14th Edition will be held on June 1st, 2024, at the Faculty of Arts.
