Cristina Basili, born into a Greek-Italian musical family in Vienna, has performed at prestigious venues including Konzerthaus and Musikverein Vienna, Tonhalle Zürich, and Megaron Athens, and at international festivals such as Pärnu, Yellow Barn, and Davos. She has collaborated with distinguished musicians and conductors, including Oleg Maisenberg, Paavo Järvi, and Ralph Kirshbaum, and has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician with ensembles and orchestras across Europe and the United States.
Basili co-founded the interdisciplinary collective EnsemblART and the Musicpoetry Duo Die Bühnencousinen, whose video performances have received international recognition. She holds degrees from the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, including advanced studies in chamber music and pedagogy.
