Ardiana Bytyçi

Ardiana Bytyçi Ismajli is a soprano and vocal educator based in Prishtina, Kosovo. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the New Bulgarian University and holds a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, Germany. Ardiana has been a chorister and soloist with the Kosovo Philharmonic since 2010 and has taught voice at the University of Prishtina, as well as at the “Prenk Jakova” and “Amadeus” music schools in Prishtina.

Her education and training have been enriched by various distinguished masterclasses, where she worked with renowned vocalists such as Christa Ludwig, Roman Trekel, Michael Chans, and Caroline Isabel Merz. She has also participated in workshops focusing on vocal physiology and vocal performance with Prof. Dr. Wolfram Seidner and Dr. Dirk Verges.

Ardiana performed a solo recital at the New Bulgarian University in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2022, and a performance at the “Merita and Friends” concert with the American Orchestra in Skopje, Macedonia, in 2019. She has also had the privilege of performing in several operatic roles, including Suzuki in Madam Butterfly by Puccini, Pauline in Pique Dame by Tchaikovsky, Olga in Eugen Onegin by Tchaikovsky, and Lia in L’Enfant Prodigue by Debussy, as part of the Hochschule für Musik Detmold.

Other memorable performances include concerts at venues such as the “Engjelli i Rojes” Church in Ferizaj, Kosovo, and the Sant Ignazio Cathedral in Rome, Italy. Ardiana has also participated in the Mozart Marathon in Bayreuth, Germany, and a concert with the Symphonic Orchestra of Kosovo for the 100th anniversary of Albania’s independence in 2012.
