Alberta Troni is a Kosovo pianist who began learning the piano at the young age of six and excelled quickly. She completed both her undergraduate and master’s studies in piano at the University of Pristina’s Faculty of Arts, studying under Professor Lejla Pula. Since 1998, she has been an academic at the same institution, first as an assistant professor and later as a professor in the Music Department. 

Alberta is known for her expressive and captivating performances as a soloist and ensemble member, having participated in concerts across the Former Yugoslavia, as well as in Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Croatia, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Israel, and the USA. She has also won various awards, including first prize at the Student Competition in Smederevo, Serbia in 1988, and the third prize in the “Superior” category at the International Competition “Nikolai Rubinstein” in Paris, France in 1997. Alberta has specialized in various programs and master classes, working with renowned artists such as Joaquin Achucarro, Alexander Korsantiya, Jose Ribera, Jean-Francois Heisser, Eric Le Sage, and Michael Hruby. She has also held leadership positions at the Faculty of Arts, including leading the piano program, serving as Vice-dean of the Music Department, and becoming a board member of the University of Pristina in 2015.
