Kosti Deti

The pianist Kosti Deti has received great acclaim for his interpretation, virtuosity, and originality in his performances. Since 2021, he has been taking lessons from one of the most highly regarded pianists in the world, Dmitry Alexeev, and was offered a place of study at the Royal College of Music. He is currently studying at the University of Music and Arts of the city of Vienna in Austria, under the guidance of Professors Jura Margulis and Markusrause.

He has won around 50 prizes at national and international competitions all over the world, including in Austria, Italy, France, Russia, Canada, England, Spain, and more.

Recent highlights include performances at the Wiener Musikverein and the Tschechische Musik (Czech Music) Festival. He is scheduled to perform at prestigious venues such as the United Nations Vienna, München Philharmonic Hall, Salzburg Mozarteum, Opera House Albania, and Prague Rudolfinum – Suk Hall. He has also participated in concert series at esteemed venues in Vienna such as Grosser Ehrbar Saal, Salon im Alten Rathaus, Hietzinger Saal, and Haus der Ingenieure.

In addition, he received 16 awards between 2021 and 2022 and has performed with the RTSH symphonic orchestra (national radio-television orchestra of Albania) and the Orchestra of the University of Music and Arts of the City of Vienna at the Festival Neue Musik. He has been part of well-known festivals in Salzburg, Italy, and France, such as ClaviCologne, Saline Royale, and BISMA.

Furthermore, he has an upcoming recital by invitation at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, Russia, and has released his first CD in collaboration with the composer Aleksander Peçi. Apart from his concert activity, Kosti has gained diplomatic recognition for his contribution to the cultural relations between Austria and his home country, Albania.
