Denita Dedushaj

Denita Dedushaj completed her primary and secondary musical education at the “Halit Kasapolli” school in Peja, under the guidance of Prof. Mimoza Pajaziti Dranqolli and Prof. Zana Badivuku Basha. She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s studies in piano at the Faculty of Arts, University of Pristina, under the tutelage of Prof. Lejla Pula.

Denita has participated in numerous concerts and festivals including Chopin Piano Fest (2015 Piano Marathon, 2017, 2019 Piano Podium, 2018 Juvenis Stage, 2021 Young Soloists), DAM Festival (KLUBI 90 2016: Closing Night with Gresa Broqi – cello and Albin Abazi – oboe, 2017: Oeuvre Recital (Premiere: Variations – Blond Krasniqi), 2018: Recital with the ensemble sFOURzando, ALBSON9MBLL20 FINALE 2022: Siparantum Choir), and Manifesta Biennale 2022 in “Open piano recital” Pristina. She has also performed at the “Neighbors” concert in Tirana, Kosovo, twice alongside pianists from Albania, Montenegro, and Macedonia.

Denita has held recital concerts in Pristina (2019,2020) and Pejë (2020,2021). Since 2022, she has been a member and pianist of the Siparantum choir, performing in concerts and competitions across various countries such as Belgium, Slovenia, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, South Korea, Sweden, and Vienna.

Denita has recently been announced as the winner of the first prize in the 2024 International Competition “Golden Classical Music Awards,” and will be performing at one of the most prestigious halls in the world – the Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall, New York.

Denita has held masterclasses with renowned pianists such as Stephen Prutsman, Hakon Autsbo, Anna Magdalena Kokits, Jerome Granjon, Giovanni Belluci, Violetta Egorova, and Ruben Dalibaltayan.

Currently, Denita is a piano teacher at the music school “Halit Kasapolli” in Peja.
